2nd Stage North Sea Coast - Europe

Held in 2016-17

A 2nd Stage of the project started in Holland along the North Sea coast heading to Belgium, France. The idea would be to follow the entire coast of France, Spain, Portugal and return to Spain in Punta Umbria where he would cross the Atlantic Ocean  in a sailboat. But in Calais, France, I ended up staying 5 weeks as a volunteer in a refugee camp with over 8,000 people.

Depois de fazer a travessia do Oceano Atlântico velejando mais de 3.500 milhas náuticas_cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_I arrived in Martinique and from there I continued sailing to Panama where I cycled again to Colombia. The plans were to continue cycling to Brazil along the coast of the Pacific Ocean, but I ended up changing because of the opportunity to sail to Brazil on a sailboat that left Trinidad and Tobago, passing through Grenada, Martinique, Saint Martin and after a long 34 days sailing arrive at Fernando de Noronha.

Next Step - Sailing the Caribbean

Will be held in 2017-18

Soon more info...

The 2nd stage of the project will sail along the Caribbean coast  departing from Trinidad and Tobago and passing through Grenada, Los Roques, Bonaire, Curaçao, Aruba, Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico, San Andrés, Jamaica, Mexico and Cuba. Depending on the winds and when you arrive in Cuba, the route to be taken will be decided. If you go to Brazil directly or if you go to Bermuda, Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, Cape Verde and then arrive in Brazil. The advantage of the second option is to have wind and current in favor. What does not happen when leaving Cuba for Brazil, which has a contrary wind and current.
