A consciência ambiental e o cuidado com a natureza estão perdendo o valor na sociedade, infelizmente o mundo e as pessoas estão muito preocupados com resultados monetários, negócios e facilidades pessoais e momentâneas sem pensar no futuro, sem pensar na natureza, sem pensar nos filhos e netos, nas próximas gerações que não terão a oportunidade de ver as mesmas coisas que nós, ou nossos pais, ou nossos avós tiverem o prazer de ver. Lugares lindos sendo destruídos, animais sendo extintos, mudanças climáticas, terremotos, maremotos, furações, inundações, descongelamento das geleiras, a natureza mostrando a sua força, gritando por ajuda e tentando nos mostrar que estamos no caminho errado. Mas que ainda podemos fazer algo para mudar.
Environmental awareness and care for nature are losing the value of a society, unfortunately the world and people are very concerned about monetary results, business, personal and momentary facilities without thinking about the future, without thinking about our children and grandchildren, in the next generations that will not have the opportunity to see the same things that we, or our parents, or our grandparents have the pleasure to see. The amazing places being destroyed, the animals being extinguished, climate changes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, thawing of glaciers, nature showing their strength, screaming and pleading for help. Trying to show us we're on the wrong way. But we can still do something to change.
Acredito que gerando a consciência ambiental com nossas crianças é um dos melhores meios para cuidarmos da natureza. Elas tem a mente limpa, ficam chocadas com fotos dos animais que morrem pela ingestão do lixo e do plástico e muitas vezes criam por si só a distinção do certo e do errado em relação ao lixo, ensinando nós adultos o que já deveríamos saber a tempos. Eles são o futuro do mundo e são quem podem fazer a diferença, como se estivéssemos plantando uma semente para eles próprios colherem no futuro.
I believe that generating environmental awareness with our children is one of the best ways to take care of nature. They have a clean mind, they are shocked when they see photos of animals that die from the ingestion of garbage and plastic. Often the children create the distinction of right and wrong in relation to the garbage, teaching us adults what we should already know. They are the future of the world and they are the ones who can make a difference, as if we were planting a seed for themselves to reap in the future.
Tive o prazer de apresentar o projeto Jornada pela Costa do Mundo pela Preservação dos Oceanos em duas escolas de Punta Umbria, na Espanha. A Ecoescola Enebral e o Instituto de Educação Secundária Bitácora, mostrando os problemas do lixo e do plástico nas praias e nos Oceanos, os animais e aves marinhas que morrem pela ingestão do lixo, muitos deles confundindo com seu alimento natural, também contei um pouco da história de como comecei o projeto, seu andamento e as próximas etapas.
I had the pleasure to present the project World Coast Journey for the Preservation of the Seas in two schools in Punta Umbria, Spain. The Eco School Enebral and the Institute of Secondary Education Bitácora, showing the problems of garbage and plastic on beaches and oceans, marine animals and seabirds that die from the ingestion of garbage, many of them confusing with their natural food, also told a little of the story of how I started the project, its progress and the next steps.
Depois da apresentação teórica com foto, vídeos organizei juntamente com o colégio Ecoescola Enebral a limpeza da praia com os alunos da sexta série Primário, para mostrar os problemas um pouco mais sobre os problemas na prática e gerar a consciência ambiental para um futuro melhor. Conscientizar as crianças é o melhor meio para cuidar da natureza, Muito obrigado a todos os alunos pela participação, a Ecoescola Enebral e o Instituto Bitacora pela oportunidade e a todos os professores e envolvidos que tornaram possível a apresentação do projeto e a limpeza da praia.
After the theoretical presentation with photos, videos and slide presentation the World Coast Journey project organized together with the Eco School Enebral the cleaning beach day with the students of the sixth grade Primary, to show the problems in practice and generate environmental awareness for a better future. Raising children awareness is the best way to take care of nature. Many thanks to all the students for their participation, Ecoescola Enebral and the Bitacora Institute for the opportunity and all the teachers and involved that made possible the presentation of the project and the cleaning beach.
