Hoje faz 1 mês que cheguei em Punta Umbria na Espanha. Cidade onde vim encontrar com Silvio Franchescini e Barbarossa o nome de seu veleiro que será o novo meio de transporte para o projeto World Coast Journey pela Preservação dos Oceanos para cruzar o Atlântico e chegar ao Caribe. Desde que cheguei estamos preparando tudo no barco para iniciar a viagem e fazer a travessia do Oceano Atlântico .
Mudamos a hélice do motor para uma hélice dobrável para ganhar 2-3 dias na travessia. Trocamos os cabos de vela, alguns problemas com os terminais e com o tamanho dos cabos mas enfim deu tudo certo. Fixamos o bote salva-vidas e preparamos para fixa a bike. Dia de compras para estoque de comida.
O caminho da viagem será partir de Punta Umbria para Ilha Madeira, de Portugal e seguir para as Ilhas Canarias da Espanha. Depois para Cabo Verde e iniciar a travessia do Oceano Atlântico para Barbados na América Central.

Mas o pior dos trabalhos foi esperar 7 semanas para a entrega de uma encomenda postal da Suiça para a Espanha que os pais de Silvio enviaram com algumas peças para o barco, chocolate suiço, 1 livros e 1 mochila usada. Muito dificil para um turista receber alguma encomendo postal na Espanha, principelmente se o pais de envio não faz parte da União Européia. Uma buracracia absurda, a cada dia a Aduana pedia um novo documento, sem nenhuma organização e respeito por quem esta esperando, sem darem uma informação concreta, apenas diziam que tinham que esperar. Correios e Aduana da Espanha sem nenhum respeito ao turista.

Durante o tempo de trabalho no barco e espera para chegar as peças realizei alguns eventos de apresentação do projeto em duas escolas de Punta Umbria. A Escola de Educação Primaria Enebral onde apresentei o projeto em 5 classes de 4o a 6o Primário e no Colégio Bitacora fiz 4 apresentações para alunos de 14 a 16 anos. Realizamos também a limpeza da praia com as crianças do 6o ano da escola Enebral e também realizamos a limpeza do caminho do Clube Desportivo Náutico de Punta Umbria e participei também da limpeza do parque XXXX com o projeto Foredunes onde iniciava uma pista ciclável e estava cheia de lixo, alguns produtos típicos de ciclistas, como carbos e materias de conserto de bicicleta. CICLISTAS por favor respeitem a natureza, nós usufruímos dos seus melhores meios, como o perfume e o ar puro que temos naquelas belas trilhas com paisagens maravilhosas e temos que cuida-la.
During the time working on the boat and waiting to get the pieces I held some project presentation events in two schools in Punta Umbria. The Enebral Elementary School where I taught the project in 5 classes from 4th to 6th Primary and in the College Bitacora I made 4 apprenticeships for students from 14 to 16 years old. We also cleaned the beach with the children of the 6th year of the Enebral school and also cleaned the path to the Punta Umbria Nautical Sports Club and also participated in the cleaning of the XXXX park with the Foredunes project where it started a cycle track and was full of Garbage, some typical products of cyclists, such as carbons and bicycle repair materials. Também tive um tempo para algumas pedaladas e conhecer um pouco de Punta Umbria, pistas cicláveis no Parque Natural Marismas del Odiel, Enebrales e uma costa com praias lindas mas infelizmente lixo e plastico que as pessoas deixam na areia da praia e que o mar traz de volta.
I also had time for some cycling and a bit of Punta Umbria, cycling trails in the Marismas del Odiel Natural Park, Enebrales and a coast with beautiful beaches but unfortunately trash and plastic that people leave in the sand of the beach and that the sea brings of come back.
