[PT] A 3ª Etapa do projeto será velejar pela costa do Caribe partindo de Trinidade e Tobago e passando por Grenada, Los Roques, Bonaire, Curaçao, Aruba, Colômbia, Panamá, Porto Rico, San Andrés, Jamaica, México e Cuba. Dependendo dos ventos e de quando chegar a Cuba será decidido a rota a ser tomada. Se seguir para o Brasil diretamente ou se ir para Bermudas, Açores, Madeira, Ilhas Canárias, Cabo Verde e então chegar ao Brasil. A vantagem da segunda opção é ter vento e corrente a favor. O que não acontece partindo de Cuba para o Brasil que tem vento e corrente contrária.

[PT] A preparação para esta etapa iniciou em Julho de 2017, quando vim para Trinidade e Tobago iniciar a reforma no barco. Desde então muito trabalho, de domingo a domingo das 7 da manhã as 7 da noite para prepara-lo para ir a água. Entre os trabalhos realizados foi tirar a quilha e reforçar o casco, que necessitou desmontar toda a parte interna da cozinha e da sala, reparação do motor que estava a 5 anos sem ser ligado, móveis envernizados, troca de registros e tubos para a água, parte elétrica, reparação das velas e mais algumas coisas que ainda necessitam serem feitas.

[PT] Os planos são estar com o barco pronto final de novembro, inicio de dezembro. Que é justamente quando termina a temporada de furacões.
